Caitlyn and Kinnon's birthday

We had a joint first birthday party with Alison's daughter, Caitlyn. See... how clueless the babies are and how intent mommy is on blowing off the candles.

First Steps

I was so amazed when I saw Kinnon take 6-7 steps today right in front of my mom, laura and me. Last Sunday, Mr Chan Chee Keong, one of our grassroots leaders was telling me how Trevor, his grandson could walk 7 steps and I was telling him that Kinnon would probably take 1 more month to be able to walk that proficiently.

It is such a miracle watching a baby learn how to walk. How he takes his awkward steps and trys to compensate, control and balance with his hands, body or more steps. It is so cute seeing him totter along, falling and then picking himself up again. Laura and I just sat down there wondering, how do they get it? What sort of programme are they imbued with that inspires them to walk upright?

Declan's Birthday!

We want to celebrate our god son's Declan's 2nd birthday yesterday! Jerome and Agnes celebrated with a BBQ. (I am waiting for them to send me the pictures so that I can post them) Declan is very big-sized. We didn't get to interact much with him, cos I guess that's when the stranger anxiety is really bad.

Kinnon had a great time playing at the playground as well. He was also really intrigued with the lanterns as part of our Mid-Autumn celebrations.

I am starting to lose my voice though and I think I may have gotten the bug from Kinnon. The good thing is that I am done with the district meeting. Well, I almost lost my voice when I was on the podium addressing 300+ of our partners. I was fiddling around with the straw, before I managed to drink from my straw.... in front of everybody. However, I definitely kept them captivated with my 10 figures presentation.
