Ring-A--Ling at the Firestation

Both Ashlynn and Kinnon have an absolute fascination with fire-engines and fire-stations after watching for the umpteenth time. We really enjoy how the various fire stations have an open house from 9:00 to 11:00am every Saturday. The kids get to go up the fire engine, play with the hoses, go up on the fire ladder. This time round, I got to put on the oxygen mask and they even turned it own for me. pictures below...

Day Out in the Zoo

Okay, just came back from a day-out in the zoo with the kids. Its been sometime since we have been back in the zoo... they now have a wonderful kids areas with lots of water gadgets which are always a thrill with the kids. However, there are less of the petting animals for the kids though. Kinnon and Ashlynn went up on the merry go round (which was quite a thrill for me as well)
